When I finished school, everyone told me, “You must get a ‘normal job.'”

A normal job is like a box.

You have to go to an office. You have to sit there all day, from 9-to-5. A boss tells you what to do.

This idea made me feel sad. I did not want to be in a box.

So, I did something different.

I said, “No, thank you. I will build my own job.”

I decided to work for myself, from my home. This is called “freelancing.”

At first, it was very, very hard. It was like playing a new game with no rules. I made a lot of mistakes. Sometimes it was scary.

But I did not stop.

I learned. I tried new things. I fell down, and I got back up.

And after a lot of work, I did it. I built my own business.

Now, I work from my home in Pakistan. I am my own boss. I am happy and I am free.

Now, I want to help you.

I remember feeling lost and alone. I don’t want you to feel that way.

I learned the rules to the game. I made a “map” that shows all the bad roads and all the secret paths.

I want to give this map to you.

I want to teach you how to build your own “free” job, just like I did.

You don’t have to make the same mistakes I made. You can do it faster. You just need a friend to show you the way.

I want to be that friend.
